Editorial Report for the Year 2023-2024
Today, Sunday, October 12, 2025, at 9 am, we all met at the 'Gita Bhavan' in Kable for the grand
purpose of the 17th Annual General Meeting. At this meeting,we would like to extend our
greetings and best wishes on the auspicious occasion of Bijoya Dashami and the upcoming
Diwali to all the respected president, chief guest, special guests, present guests, respected
members of Arambagh's Aponjon Welfare Society, and the present and former students and the
managing committee secretary.
Today, the great man for whom our hearts are heavy is none other than the creator of
'Apanjan', the divine Late Jaydev Chakraborty. 'Apanjan' is moving forward keeping his ideals in
mind.
Withthe help of Kalyan Netra Niketan and Dristideep Eye Institute, an eye check-up
camp was held on December 8, 2024, at Kalyan Netra Niketan, Sodpur. Approximately 250
people had their eyes checked, and later 132 people had cataract surgery at Dristideep Eye
Institute. Everyone is healthy.
A blood donation camp was held on July 13 at Gita Bhavan, Kable. 162 people
donated blood at this camp. A sapling of a mango tree was given to everyone as a gift.
Additionally, financial assistance is provided for the higher education of poor and meritorious
students. Currently, the society has 178 general members and 79 lifetime members. The editor
of the managing committee will discuss the following topics.
1) Focus on the editorial report.
2) Evaluate the financial accounts.
3) Increase the number of members.
4) Inclusion of the society's founding students in the society.
We express our gratitude and congratulations to all the members of Arambagh's
Apanjan Welfare Society.
As the poet says,
I will make this world a livable place for this child
This is my firm promise to the newborn.
Finally, having finished all the work,
I will bless the new child with the blood of my body,
and then I will become history.
